From Alison Sydor to the original Froriders, we have a long history of supporting some of the world's best mountain bikers. Today is no different — we are proud to work with true legends of the sport.
On top of showing our bikes off all over the world, many of our athletes are heavily involved in our R&D process, pushing their bikes far past normal uses and providing feedback to our engineers and product development team.
Freeride
- Alex Volokhov Canada Alex Volokhov grew up in Nelson, British Columbia, one of the hearts of Canadian freeride mountain biking. Nelson is home to many professional freeriders as well as the film company, Freeride Entertainment, known for the New World Disorder series that Alex watched on repeat from an early age. Over the last few years, he’s been pushing the limits of mountain biking at the FEST series and through unbelievable video content.
- Carson Storch United States Carson Storch is a fresh addition to our well-established team of free-riders. Carson lives in Bend, Oregon where he's grown up and first hopped on a mountain bike at the age of 10.
- Thomas Vanderham Canada For over 10 years Thomas Vanderham has been a mainstay in the sport of freeride mountain biking. A self-proclaimed big mountain rider, he has placed in the top ten at every Red Bull Rampage ever held.
- Vaea Verbeeck Canada Vaea has been Canadian National Champion, she's raced at Worlds, and recently won the Air DH at Crankworx in Rotorua, NZ!
- Wade Simmons Canada Wade is the undisputed Godfather of Freeride. Hands down. You’d be hard-pressed to find a mountain bike publication that doesn’t feature or mention the man who essentially defined freeride and embodies the soul of the sport. The guy still has an appitite for riding like a labrador for food, and will continue to be a coach and mentor for future generations. Wade also heads out C.O.R.E. Ambassador program of riders throughout North America.
Enduro
- Andréane Lanthier Nadeau Canada Andreane Lanthier Nadeau, affectionately known as ALN by her friends has been a part of the Rocky Factory XC team, and riding Rocky Mountain bikes for years. She has out descended the XC field into the realm of enduro, and found a spot on our EWS Rally Team!
- Jesse Melamed Canada With a simple passion for mountain biking, Jesse puts fun into every pedal stroke. Born and raised in Whistler, BC and riding since the age of three, Jesse has honed his skills on some of the world's best terrain.
- Peter Ostroski United States Pistol Pete, Sweet Pete, the Chef, Peter Ostroski is a swiss army knife of a man. Pete has recently moved back home, from Alaska, to East Burke, VT where he's be shredding dirt when there's no snow on the ground.
- Remi Gauvin Canada Growing up riding where this generation's fastest Canadian downhillers ride, Mt. Prevost on Vancouver Island, Remi brings great speed from his downhill racing experience to the Rocky Mountain/Raceface Enduro Team. Remi's speed, and style turn heads and fast times on both DH and Enduro courses.

Cross Country
- Andreas Hestler Canada Olympian and former National Champion Andreas Hestler is a pioneer of Canadian cycling. His resume is filled with wins from road and cross to super D and enduro, and he's one of the driving forces behind the BC Bike Race.
- Bradyn Lange United States On and XC bike riding back wheel, a lot of the time. Bradyn's BMX and moto style make him what we love about "XC"
- Felix Burke Canada Felix partly grew up in BC, partly in Quebec. He goes back home to Mt. Tremblant in the Summer, but study's on Vancouver Island. Felix's back ground, and the variety of influences have made him a great bike handler, not affraid to tkae his Element over gap jumps and down rock slabs!
- Sam Schultz United States A history of racing World Cup XC, and a trip to the 2012 Olympics have given same the skills and drive, which he now directs towards developing a NICA program in his home state of Montana, leading group riding experiences for The Cycling House, and exploring riding terrain, new or old with his trusty sidekick - Pancho!

- Bernadette Merriman United States Bernadette hails from Brevard, North Carolina where she’s lived for 17 years. She didn’t throw a leg over a bicycle until 2007 and fell in love on her very first ride!
- Branham Snyder United States Branham found his love for mountain biking while growing up in Pátzcuaro, a small town in the Southern Sierra Madre of Mexico.
- Britney White United States For me, being in the mountains was a large part of why I started mountain biking and it was an easy transition from ski season to riding bikes in the summer.
- Cameron (Cami) Bragg Canada Cameron (Cami!) is a Whistler local who grew up next to the bike park...
- Carson Hampton United States Carson Hampton is 16 years old and lives in Boise, Idaho. He also races bikes.
- Corey Stelljes United States Corey is a mountain bike rider and racer based in Madison, Wi. He works as a civil engineer and is an advocate and designer for new trails in the Madison area. Outside of work Corey finds time to win some of the biggest races in the Midwest such as Chequamegon Fat Tire 40, Dakota Five-0, and Lutsen 99er, often beating pro riders in the field.
- Dave Vunic Canada A master of balancing a life of chasing children, sipping americano's, upholding the law and shredding bikes. "The Mountie" began racing bicycles at a young age and hasn't let up yet.
- Dwayne Kress Canada Dwayne “Freight Train” Kress began cycling at an early age in the 70’s when he first pushed off from the curb aboard his bike with recently removed training wheels.
- Dylan Forbes Canada Dylan is recognized as one of the wildest local shredders in the Whistler Bike Park and prides himself on his ability to fold tires right off the rim.
- Eric Lawrenuk Canada The next time you are out riding, listen for shouting and laughter from the trees; it’s probably Lornny!
- Greg Day Canada Greg is a ball of energy that makes him a great racer to have at events both racing solo and especially as a teammate. A marathon specialist, Greg's a veteran of BC Bike Race, Trans Alp, Singletrack 6, and the Hell of a Series. Greg is a teacher in Squamish and heads up his school's mountain bike team.
- Isaac Neff United States Isaac has been obsessed with bikes since he was a kid, riding, racing and working on them. Now that he is grown up Isaac runs Neff Cycle Service, a service focused bike shop in Madison Wisconsin. His racing has improved over the years as well, having competed in numerous disciplines and thousands of races at the elite/pro level across the country. Isaac now focuses on the big Midwest races and often finds himself at the front.
- Julia Hofmann Germany In the year 2000, Julia got her first taste of riding mountain bikes and was instantly hooked. It became her mission to travel the world to experience different cultures through riding, seeking out the best trails and adventures along the way!
- Justin Roy Canada Justin hails from a small town in Northern Ontario named Sioux Lookout. A little over 10 years ago, he made the move west, landing in Vancouver & eventually settling in Whistler.
- Kevin Calhoun Canada Kevin is referred to as "Captain" by teammates and friends alike. Once a Rocky Mountain Bicycles employee, and previously serving as an XC team rider—signing on one year after Wade Simmons in the mid-90s—Kev is an ambassador of the brand and sport in the truest sense!
- Makaela Herran United States There are two things she loves more than mountain biking: baking a pie and sharing it with people I love.
- Martin Ready Canada Martin lives in Cumberland and is the Owner/Lead guide for Island Mountain Rides (www.islandmountainrides.com). He can be found all summer guiding riders from all over the world on the trails of V
- Matt Monod Canada Matt was born and raised in Canmore, AB. Exposed mostly to the world of skiing. When warm weather comes, he gets after alpine climbing, mountaineering and of course riding bikes! With an obsession for Alpine landscape, Matt hopes breath in the Alpine breeze whenever it is possible.
- Mike Sarnecki Canada Based in Edmonton, Alberta Mike always finds a way to ride and race his bike whether it be Fat bikes to Cyclocross, XC, he's even riding an Instinct these days. Mike is happy to have anyone for a riding partner and hopes he can share his passion with others on the road, the trails, or over a good cup of coffee.
- Noah Brousseau Canada Noah’s a BC-bred freerider who’s spent years ticking off trails, features, and riding spots throughout his home province.
- Patrick Logan Canada Patrick grew up riding in the flat prairies of Lethbridge, Alberta but got tired of the 30-second descents and moved west to the Land of Real Mountain Biking as soon as he could.
- Susan Clifford United States Exploring farm roads on a borrowed bike put Susan on the hunt for a dirt worthy bike of her own. The search led her to a local bike shop where the karma gods served up a job and a free mountain bike! The rest, as they say, is history.
- Taylor Heanny United States Taylor lives in sunny Southern California, where his passion for mountain biking began. Armed with only a shovel, he used to follow his father into the hills to build trails for the local mtb scene.
- Tyler Pratt Canada Tyler lives in The Blue Mountains Ontario with his wife and young son. He honed his skills racing the Ontario And Canadian Cup downhill series but eagerly switched to Enduro as soon as there was racing available around his area.
