Beginning of bicycle assembling in Saint-Georges
de Beauce. The company hires about 40 employees
who assemble approximately 30,000 bicycles
during the first year.

of PEUGEOT bicycles imported from France.

PROCYCLE
begins to manufacture and paint its own
bicycle frames. The company triples the
plant's surface area and the number of employees

signs an agreement with Peugeot France to

from Canadian Tire Corporation. Introduction
of the Oryx mountain bike line for the first
year. The plant expands to 203,000 square
feet.

5,000,000th bicycle is manufactured. The
marketing for the MIKADO's touring line
is a success. First bicycle manufacturer
in North America to get ISO 9001 certification.
Acquisition of BODYGUARD FITNESS, a high-end
workout equipment manufacturer.

acquires ROCKY MOUNTAIN BICYCLES (high performance
manufacturer) based in British Columbia.

100th CCM anniversary and the The 30th Bodyguard

Bodyguard wins "Product Design and

is given to Rocky Mountain Bicycles pour
