Patrick grew up riding in the flat prairies of Lethbridge, Alberta but got tired of the 30-second descents and moved west to the Land of Real Mountain Biking as soon as he could. He now lives, plays and works in Nelson, BC fixing and building canoes. He loves Nelson’s steep, techy trails which are perfect since he can barely ride bikepark style jump lines. When he’s not riding around Nelson trying to get PR’s and top 10’s on Strava he’s out taking it easy while bikepacking or doing any number of other things like rock climbing or skiing. After a failed bikepacking trip on the Sunshine Coast, he decided to go all into the bikepacking world by creating photo essays of his adventures with friends aboard his Growler and Instinct to motivate other riders to try it themselves.
